Nicholls State University is a proud member of the Southland Conference. Coach Chip Durham is in his 5th season as Head Coach at Nicholls. With a mix of experienced and young talent on this year's team, the Colonels hope to make a tournament run this season.

Nicholls defeated No. 1 seed Texas State in the first round of the 2010 Southland Conference Baseball tournament. The next game will be on Thursday, May 27 at 7:00pm when Nicholls takes on UT-Arlington.
